The Xaloc cocktail bar, located in Madrid’s Huertas street, has a license to carry out activities with sound or audiovisual reproduction or amplification equipment and its foreseeable sound levels are up to 95 dBA. In order to control it, a MRC Audio EQLimit frequency limiter has been installed.
MRC Audio Limiter EQLimit in XalocThe limiter has been installed between the mixer and the power stages, and has a microphone that measures the sound pressure level, analyzing the electrical signal coming from the mixer and the acoustic signal. This allows you to adjust the output level so that it does not exceed the maximums configured in the device. In addition, it allows to store the data of the levels of each session, as well as the possible manipulations of the system and the new programming.
This installation has been carried out by the Telco technical team, also providing its connectivity solutions to ensure the correct functioning of the entire audio playback chain.
Regarding the regulations, each municipality takes measures against noise pollution to meet the new national noise law require the installation of a controller or limiter, but does not mean that you get down to the sound or that abrupt cuts in music occur , just that you have to have more control and make the equipment sound at the right level.
